Onyx Pharmaceuticals: Is Nexavar the Next Avastin? Nexavar, approved for kidney and lung cancer, is already a success by most measures. It should reach blockbuster status, surpassing $1 billion in worldwide annual sales by 2010. Most companies would be quite pleased to have a drug deliver such results, and Nexavar’s owners, Onyx Pharmaceuticals (ONXX) and Bayer AG (BYERF.PK), probably feel the same.
